We went to see arches today. Very impressive. However still no big horn sheep or mountain goats to be seen!!! Did a little hiking around. Not much as I was having a hard time getting Kevin out of the car. The mountains and canyons and rock formations are all starting to look alike to him. He is still feeling a bit homesick or at least ready to head for home. He keeps thinking of all the stuff he needs to get done before winter. I could have just sat at the canyon rim and chilled for about a week. barring mountain lions snakes and scorpions also none of which I have seen. Tim I did see lots of green dirt and rocks today unfortunately they were all at arches. Unable to bring any home. We had lunch at a little diner in Moab and then went to canyonlands. More canyons! It was pretty and a bit quieter than a lot of places. Many people asked me to take their pic today. Well I'll upload pics some are really cool. Tomorrow we head for mesa verde.
