The day started out well. got up early and on the road. we were making good time and actually gained an hour going to mountain time. We stopped at wall drugs and wandered around Kevin bought some boots for the cycle ride tomorrow (he forgot to pack his and you can't ride a motorcycle without them!!) We also had second breakfast as it was only 1030 then. From there we headed to the badlands. It was awesome!! and a bit overwhelming. I took a bunch of pics and the camera battery died. I will upload some of them for you. Highlights were seeing some buffalo up close (too close according to Kevin) and some prarie dogs. they were all over in spots! I wanted to bring one home. The temp was over 90 so it was hard wandering around too much. I didn't care for the beware of rattle snake warnings either. We did about 40 miles on a dirt road ( I guess the same road crews work here as in MN. The landscapes were beautiful. We got to the KOA about 430 here and when we got to the kabin it had a set of bunk beds and a set of "double "bunk beds which turn out to be 2 full size beds in bunks. A bit tight on the lower bunk and a bit wobbly on the upper bunk but we"ll have to make due. Ill be more careful with my next reservations. Well Kev is cooking dinner so I guess I'll try to upload the pics then I have to find a Harley dealer to rent a bike from. Its going to be 90 again tomorrow
